Go back and read the Stereophile reviews on both and you can form your own conclusion by using deductive reasoning.

And there'd be a good 6"+ above the amp too.

I'll call Krell tomorrow and see what they say. Hopefully they think it'll work.

If the back is open and with 4 inches above it now I change my stance.
I believe it will work for you. It still will get pretty warm though. That thing puts off some heat with all channels driven. But compared to the old way of class A I guess it is minor.

One more thing, I still haven't heard the fans on the Chorus at all.

I agree. I think you'll be fine if it's open in back and you have fans. Don't have the Chorus but do have EV 3250 in cabinet and it works fine without fans.

As you folks probably know I was without a Foundation for a while. I now have it back along with a Chorus 7200.

Just watched the Hobbit part 2. Is there an emoticon for jaw dropped and buried in the floor.? Lol

Anyway I saw this movie at an imax theater and I have to say there is know way in my mind that any two pieces of equipment could sound as good as the two I now have. I guess I need to give props to the Oppo 105 also. But man the sound is just absolutely stunning. I want everyone to come here and listen to this. This is with Ares eq on from 125hz down. I know I need nothing more ever in the sound department. I even rwplayed the credits 3 times. I just wanted to tell you all how azing it all sounds. Expecially in a dedicated theater like I have.
