Hi guys!!

I have the following setup

Klipsch Synergy F2 (Front Left/Right)
Klipsch B2 ( Surrounds)
Yamaha-model unknown (Center)
my living room- 17 X 20 sqft.,

My Cerwin Vega sub-100 (10 inch) subwoofer & HK AVR 247 receiver are gone. I sold them yesterday.

Now while I am waiting for the deal on Klipsch RW-12D on newegg; I am planning to buy a good receiver.

I am liking Pioneer VSX-822 K & its 80 W 5.1 receiver. My goal is upgrade the speakers to RF-82 or 62 (will try for RF 82) next year. Would it be a good receiver in $229 from Walmart.com or should I go for higher wattage receiver as fronts are 100 W & rear bookhelves are 75W.

Other receiver I am considering is Denon 1913. I learned from different threads that Denon is kind of warm for Klipsch speakers & make a good pair. I am getting Denon 1913 for $299 from accessories4less.com.

The third receiver is Onkyo 515 which has a lot of goodies & I can buy it at $269.

Can you suggest something comparable. I liked the idea of having bluetooth, USB & Ipod play in the receiver. or Should I get these features in my blu-ray player.

Thanks in advance.

Get a better avr if you are going to get the RF 82's, they can take more power. I like higher midrange Pioneer's with Klipsch. I use a Pioneer SC 35 with my Klipsch. If you check the used market or go on the Klipsch forum there are some great buys to be found and the speakers are in mint condition. You have a nice system. Get a good Bluray player and you will be good.

Klipsch RF 7 based HT 7.4, Pioneer SC 35, Acurus 200 Five, Dayton 18 Ultimxa Dual Sub Cab(2), Dayton 18 Ultimax Large Vented Sub Cab (2), on Berhinger I Nuke DPS amps, Samsung BDP F 7500, Asus/My Book Live HPC 4 TB

Yaquin VK 2100 amp, McIntosh XR 5 speakers, Samsung BDP F 7500

Thanks for your reply. Can you suggest me any model from Pioneer or Denon?

So that I can specifically look for it.

Hello again

Yesterday I tested Sony DH540 & Pioneer VSX822K. Both are worth of nothing. Did like them at all.

Now My criteria is following:

Should be a good receiver which can produce good sound of my Klipsch speakers (Details in the first post). I dont need airplay, networking or Ipod connectivity

I just need HDMI input output & good sound producing receiver.

Any Suggestions please.

Shortlisted are: Denon 1713 & 1712 & Yamaha 375
