The 1st item I get from Denon gives me fits. My uncle LOVES pioneer and out of the box, it is plug and play w/o any problems. I'm a bit jealous that I'm having to dick w/ things back and forth.
If your Camaro SS had to continually go to the dealer for DTC, hard starts, poor fuel mileage, etc.. would you be lining up to get another when you sell or trade it or lemon it back to the dealer??
A refurb should be good as new equipment/internally. My HK was a refurb as where the Infinity dipoles I used and they performed flawless for me.
In my other thread that you responded to, I mentioned the item in question is my Mac. I should have pointed that out here.
No need to replace the cables, IMHO but I will double check it. BUT, It works when I use that same exact cable from my Mac to the TV over the last 2 years and when I go back and forth over the last week trying to trouble shoot this thing.
Yep tried #3 and tried calling Denon. Every single step has been used, multiple times and no dice.
It sounds like your a Denon die hard, which is fine. That being the case maybe you can answer this.
Denon 3311 vs the Pioneer VSX-33? I'm not concerned w/ age as much as my "needs list" above being met. Both are under $500 and are 125 and 110 watts respectively. HT specs show similar branded models to be w/in their watt claim in 2 ch and still be in the 80+ watt in multi -ch modes.
BUT does either have a cooling fan? Or can someone suggest something more appropriate. I will say the quality of the video on the 2113 is great when it upscales the analog Wii signal and the sound is solid and clear
