Just got a NAD 757 to replace my 744 but after 5 hours trying I am lost as how to get zone 2 working.

HDMI from Set top box to AVS HDMI 1
HDMI from Panasonic Blue Ray DVD Smart TV to AVS HDMI 2
HDMI from AVS Monitor Out to Panny 65in Plasma HDMI 2 (1 is ARC)

Back channels = Zone 2
Setup for 5 channels No BACK SPEAKERS
Zone Control = ON , input 7
Analog RED & BLACK plugged into Component Zone 2,
Where can I pick up Analog? ?

Everything runs great, TV, BlueRay, and Blue ray Netflix.
And it sounds Great! With Dolby on HD Channels unlike my 744.
BUT how can I get my new Lanai speakers, Zone 2, to work on tuner, TV, Blue ray and Netflix.

My 744 had a simple Speaker B on = Speaker B off button

Usually you have a connect analog audio cables for all of those devices in order for them to work in zone 2. Not familiar with your NAD receiver but most AV receivers work that way.

Maybe someone else will be able to chime in.

Zone2 is completely different than Speaker B. Zone2 lets you play a different source than what is playing in the main room, for instance a movie in Main zone and CD music in Zone 2.

Speaker B doesn't allow that.

The more expensive NAD receivers (777 and 787) can downmix digital signals to the 2nd zone but the 757 can't. Page 18 of the manual:

Only analog audio connected through a Source’s analog audio input port can be associated as audio source for Zone 2. Digital audio sources connected via HDMI, digital optical and digital coaxial input ports cannot be downmixed and used as Zone 2 audio source. Ensure also that the associated Source’s Digital Audio setting is set to “Off” or no actual digital source is connected.
