So I have had the Onkyo TX-NR609 receiver for about a year and currently I have a Directv Genie DVR hooked up to CBL/SAT, an XBOX360 hooked up to GAME, and a PS3 hooked up to BD/DVD all via HDMI. I also have a WII hooked up to TV/CD via component. About 2 weeks ago the Video on my PS3 started flickering, it would go black like there was no video signal and then come back and it did this non stop. Audio still came through with no issue. I have been troubleshooting this the last couple days and after playing with every setting on the Receiver and the PS3 I could, I started switching cables out, trying different ports, trying every combination imaginable to see what the issue is. What I discovered is that whenever the XBOX360 is plugged, doesn't matter which hdmi port, the PS3 video immediately starts to flicker again. The XBOX doesnt even have to be on, It is extremely bizarre to me. I have experimented with this for several hours and the PS3 is completely fine with the XBOX not plugged in. As soon as I plug the XBOX HDMI back in, the video immediately begins to flicker. If I unplug the XBOX< the video continues to flicker, but if I go to another input then back to the PS3 its fine again and the video problem doesnt return unless I plug the XBOX back it. I can't figure this out so any help/insight you guys can provide would be much appreciated.

First try setting the PS3 "Deep Color Output" setting to OFF. If still no joy, then try changing the HDMI inputs for either (or both) the PS3 or the xBox.
