Hi Gurus,

Here is my current set up.

Sony Bravia HX800 55" 240Hz 3D LCD LED
Pioneer Elite SC-71 Receiver
PS3 Slim (with Blue Ray player 3D)
Comcast Cable (Panasonic HD-DVR)
Bowers & Wilkins 686B Book Shelf Speakers (Front L and R)
BIC America F-12 12" Subwoofer

I've returned by Pioneer Elit SC-71 receiver which I bought 10 days ago (open item for $499) due to recurring issues (random shutdowns) in it.

Now, I am back to shopping for the receiver.

I see some clearance sale on Pioneer Elit SC-63 and Marantz SR6007 around the same price range between $700-$800 (+ or - $50).
I need to rush to get these this weekend.

What's the best bang for the buck among these two receivers?

PS: Also Marantz SR 5008 which seem almost siliar to SR6007 (except phono input, extra HDMI video out for multi-zone and 10 extra watts per channel) is brand new for $899.

The two Marantz units will sound the same, just the feature sets are a little different.

The SC-63 should perform like your SC-71 hopefully w/o the defects.
