Looking for a recommendation for a receiver with MultEq XT32 and Sub EQ. I'm coming from an Onkyo TX-NR709. I love this receiver, but from what I've read, the XT32 is a huge jump let alone the fact that Sub EQ will help smooth out things with my two subs. Price DOES matter of course, I am trying to keep it lower. I primarily use my system for Movies and drive my mains with an Emotiva xpa-3. I currently run a 5.2 setup.

Any input would be nice.

German Cars, German Beer, German Guns.......Italian Motorcycles.

Pre/Pro: Emotiva UMC-200
Power: Emotiva XPA-5 Gen 2
LCR: DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4T SE & 4CC
Surrounds: Mirage OMD-5
Sub: DIY Dayton Audio
PS3
DTV

Denon X4000. The Onkyo 818 and 929 do XT 32 but I don't think they do Sub eq. AVS has a great price on the 4000.

The only Onkyo models with Sub EQ HT are last year's 1010 and higher models, while as noted above, Denon has moved it down to the new X4000 which offers both it and XT32. smile.gif
