Depends. Does it have all the accessories including microphone and remote control?

Since we have no idea what you're connecting to it, what speakers you have, what you're budget is, etc. Cant really say.

I guess if you can afford it, then its a good deal. It about half off MSRP.

You can buy a brand new one with free shipping and probably no sales tax for 739.

I would say no. It's not worth it.

I would go with the one at Best Buy . They have a hassle free return policy. Just my two cents worth.

Pioneer doesn't authorize the sale of Elite models online so the vendor in that link isn't authorized. That means no warranty and is also why they offer an extended warranty for $99.

I'd get the one from Best Buy.
Quote:
Get the most out of your investment – Manufacturer’s warranty and rebate are not valid when you purchase from an unauthorized dealer. Only Pioneer-branded products* (not Elite-branded products) purchased from a Pioneer Authorized Home Entertainment Internet Dealer qualify for the manufacturer's limited warranty.

*Pioneer does NOT authorize any dealers to sell Elite-branded products on the Internet (only in-store sales are permitted). Therefore, any Elite-branded product purchased on the Internet is NOT authorized, which means that it does NOT carry the manufacturer's limited warranty and does not qualify for any manufacturer's rebate.

Peace of mind – Only authorized dealers are able to sell brand-new, non-refurbished, original stock products, complete with accessories and manuals that are made for use in the US.

The SC63 is an excellent AVR...
But as afrogt posted... 😄
You better buy from an authorized dealer and get a sealed box and factory warranty...

Just my $0.05... 👍😉
