Hello all, Im glad to be a new member and im sure ill learn a ton! Now to my question, I recently returned a pioneer vsk 1123 that I REALLY liked but I wasn't able to look at the TV while listening to apple air play, I was also getting an intermittent snowy picture regardless of what source was selected. It was my fault because I thought if a receiver has 2 zone capabilities I would be able to accomplish listening to one input while looking at another on TV. I called pioneer and they told me there was no way I could select more than one input at a time.

So in light of that info I need a recommendation for a 7.1 av receiver that will allow me to look at TV and listen to airplay audio at the same time. Im looking to keep the price under $1000. A tech guy at BB suggested I go with either a Marantz or Denon but Id like to get more recommendations and model #'s from you guys. Also can someone explain the difference between "zone 2 sourcing" and " 2 zone capabilities" ?? Thx a lot in advance!!
