Lets start with some basics..
Proficient Audio is part of the Nortek corporation, who also owns Elan, Geffen, Panamax, Xantech, Niles, Sunfire and SpeakerCraft. SpeakerCraft & Proficient Audio share common engineering/development resources so often there are multiple versions of similar products. SpeakerCraft invented the in-wall loudspeaker and have even built for certain brands such as JBL and Polk. Their products are targeted to the installing dealers, specialists and distributors in the CEDIA channels. Now to your system questions:
1. What type of volume controls were installed? L-pads or stepped transformer attenuators?
Note this is relevant to their power output handling capability, the stepped attenuators is what you want.
2. Regarding the loudspeakers (2) pairs and (1) pair in separate zones
I would recommend a separate amplifier for these rather than using the amplifier within an AVR. SpeakerCraft has a (6) channel multi-zone amplifier, model #Vital 170V that would work fine.
3. AVR choice
For the AVR get one that has a Zone 2 & 3 line outputs, this way you can operate each zone independently from each and the main system.
Note that what we are recommending may seem overkill, but I can tell you after doing AV installs for over 20 years don't cut $ install solid, robust hardware. If not 2 or 3 years later you will replacing the cheaper stuff...
Just my $0.05... 👍😉
