I just connected a Definitive Technologies ProCinema 1000 to my AVR-3313CI and for some reason I am not getting any base when playing iPod using USB in front of receiver. It is working fine when watching movies through HDMI 1.

How did you set up your sub in avr? It should be set as "LFE" with speakers set to small. Also, bypass the crossover on the sub by dialling it all the way to max.

Also check where you have your crossover set in avr. If it is low, raise it to 80Hz and above.

Check the sound format for the USB input. It may be set to direct or stereo or some other setting that doesn't use the sub.
