Got a 30X30 living room hardwood floors. Just bought 5.1 energy micro speaker system. I have a 32" lcd vizio, but I am going to be purchasing a 50" lcd smart t.v. later this year. I have a belkin bluetooth adapter that made my old kenwood avr bluetooth. I have a dish network vip 722 dvr, and will be purchasing a blu-ray player this years as well. I also have no problem running an ethernet cable across the room to hook up an avr. I have around $250 to $350 to play with for the avr and have no problems paying for a used unit off amazon or a unit from last year. I love to watch live sports and pladia concerts. I also want great quality for music ranging from jazz, hip-hop, rock, metal, electronic, and acoustic. I have an ipad mini and an iphone 4s. I also enjoy long walks on the beach, :D just kidding about the beach. I have been bouncing around the major players and reading every review I can get my hands on, but am still stuck. PLEASE LEND ME SOME ADVICE!!! I have been studying this for two months and I think I'm about to check myself in to the crazy house. THANKS TO EVERYONE who responds! Below is a picture of my living room set-up.

Dont think I'd put energy micro speakers in a 30 x 30 room. But maybe it'll sound okay to you.

Already tried them with my 7 year old kenwood avr, and they actually manage to fill the room nicely, but I don't think I had another foot to spare in any direction, however that kenwood receiver I had was very weak, so I think I'll be o.k. with whatever receiver I go with.

Check your local area Best Buy stores to see if they still have any of last year's models on clearance in your budget.
