I have configured AVR 4306 back surround speakers for Zone 2 for outdoor speakers. They are working fine for CD. However, I do not get any sound for iphone connected via airplay and no sound from PC. I have Airplay connected using HDMI3 to DVD port and PC with HDMI2 using VDP port. It will be a big disappointment if this does not work as I installed outdoor speakers thinking it will work with Airplay and PC using Zone 2.

Any help will be appreciated

Most AVR's only support analog audio thru zone 2.

I have the same issue with my AVR, I bought a
Stereo mini-jack to RCA cable and plugged it into
The headphone out of the iPhone and plugged the
RCA jacks into the back of the AVR. I was then able to stream
From the phone.

Yes, AVR 4306 also has iPod connection which works fine with Zone 2 and iPhone 4S. However, you need to go to receiver if you want to change a song or something. Would love to control what is playing sitting in the backyard. We are spoiled!

I could not agree with you more... If you have an extra iOS
Device you could install the "apple remote" program on it.
From that device you can control the one connected to your
AVR.

Got it to Work using Logitech Bluetooth Wireless Speaker Adapter which I was using before I got Apple TV. Now I can sit in backyard and enjoy my favorite music and fully control what is playing. All is not lost. Good I did not get rid of the Logitech adapter after getting Apple TV.
