Hi all I am new to the forum and I have been researching for a while on upgrading my current AVR. I'd like to upgrade to the Denon AVR X2000 but I don't want to take a step backwards in quality. I primarily use my AVR for movies and TV. I have a 7.1 set up. I'm looking to hook it up to a samsung 64 inch plasma. I would like to take advantage of HDMI connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Although the current successor model to the 2805 is the X4000, select the model that best meets your features and budget requirements as any model from the E300 and higher would be an upgrade in audio quality as they use Audyssey MultEQ which the 2805 does not feature.

** Think the AVR is defective?  Reset the microprocessor 5 times.

Thanks for the reply. So forgive my ignorance , but the audyssey functionality is that much more of a difference? The 2805 came with a mic as well. I'm not questioning your knowledge but I'm trying to educate myself.
