I have the following four devices:
  • Denon AVR-1713
  • Sony BLU-RAY DVD player Model BDPS490
  • Satellite HD receiver.
  • ACER Home Theatre HD Projector.

The satellite receiver and blu-ray player are connected into the Denon on HDMI cables.
The Denon Monitor output is connected to the Projector with a HDMI cable.

All aspects of the sat receiver work fine.
BUT when I play a DVD through the Denon the video 'stops' every few minutes and the projector blanks out and starts to re-sync.
It continues for a further few minutes and then stops again.

If I connect the DVD player directly to the projector, it works fine.

Would appreciate any suggestions as to how I might diagnose this problem further.

And yes, I am a newbie to this area!!!

Thank you
