So I've been seeing some deals on SR6007's and SR7007's, and it's beginning to drive me nuts.

Here's what I wish I had...not sure if it's worth my while to sell the 6006 and upgrade:

-Direct DSD decoding (not this "neural" thing that only goes up to 88.1khz)...but if most of my SACD collection doesn't go above 88.1khz, is it worth it? I'm using a UD5005 with it.
-SiriusXM support...ESPECIALLY so I can listen to BBC Radio 1 at home
-More power for future growth
-Lastly, I wish the 7007 had this Audessey LFC feature. I'd love to try that, as the problem it's designed to counter has caused me problems in the past smile.gif

Any thoughts? Am I nitpicking more than I think I am?

You may also want to consider the newer 6008 as it has those features (less the LFC which works quite well in fact) and can do all digital sources to Zone 2 if that is important.

Multiple zones I don't need at all smile.gif

I can't seem to find a list of reasons for the 6008 over a 6007...anyone?

Edit: Answered this...putting it here to share:

Change second HDMI out to Zone 2
Added extra rear HDMI input
Adds InstaPrevue, which lets you preview video from all connected HDMI sources
Adds HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module) and current-feedback technology which was previously only available on the reference line of a/v receivers
Add AUX2 for extra HDMI input to basic remote
Slight redesign of rear panel

That said... If I don't need zones, is there a reason to spend the money to move to a 7007 (skip the 7008 for now)? Or would a 6007/6008 suffice for a few years?
