Right now I'm using a Denon 4802 as my main but I just got an e300. Just wondering which one will sound overall better. PS the connections are not a factor.

Wouldn't it be better to just try each out and determine for yourself which you prefer in each setting? The E300 although a much lower model uses Audyssey MultEQ which should provide possibly better audio quality then even your 4802.
