Hoping I've found the culprit here, and that someone can confirm. I see 1 frame static intermittently when the bluray is hooked through the receiver to the TV, a Panasonic TV-65ps64. I don't see this when hooking the player up to this TV or my Sony led TV. Plus, I don't see the issue with any other sources through the receiver.

1st of all, is this what a handshake issue looks like? I've tried 3 different cables, they all do the same thing.
2nd, which is to blame? The receiver cost way more than the player, but is it to blame?

Thanks!

Hi mwl001, you could try turning off Deep Color Output on the BD player.

Thanks! That appears to have solved it. Glad it was simple, but confused as to why that causes a problem only through the receiver.
