Hi,

I just hooked up a Denon X4000. I have tried everything I can think of to get True HD and DTS HD recognized. I can get the old Dolby Digital and DTS through the receiver. I however, cannot get the Lossless formats.

Thanks,

Kevin

What's the source? Could there be a choice in the menu of your BDP that's limiting you to the older formats? Also, make sure the True HD and DTS HD are on the BD you're playing. Might possibly be that the set up screens on the BD aren't in True HD, maybe once the movie starts they will be.

Doubtful it's a receiver issue. Try the owner's thread for whatever Blu-ray player you have. Make sure Secondary audio is turned off.

S~

We also ask that you use the owner's threads whenever possible.

Hi,

I have an Oppo BDP103. I have the HDMI audio output on there set to Auto. Everything source device are hooked up and set the same in terms of sources as they were on my Pioneer Elite SC-67. Thoughts?

How are you hooked up to the receiver, HDMI or not? Which HDMI out of the OPPO, which one is selected as Main in the menu? Can also select bitstream in Oppo settings.
