I need help guys. I have been pulling my hair out trying to decide which one to get.. I just want the one that has the best sound of the two.  My room is pretty small. I searched the internet for advice but I have not found anything. I own the Definitive Technology Pro Cinema 800 System speakers. I just need the best sound. Any help would be appreciated thank you for your time :)  If you guys need more information I will gladly give it.

My neighbor has a 1010 and it sounds very good. However, I would recommend the 1020 in that price range. It is a year newer and has added features like airplay. It has also been recently reduced to $200 to $799 at authorized resellers like crutchfield.

Airplay is no biggie for me.. So you are saying just throw the 730 out of the mix?

You may also want to consider the Denon AVR-X2000 (or it's predecessor the 2113CI) with Audyssey MultEQ XT which can also EQ the subwoofer in addition to the speakers, which neither the A1010 nor A730 can do.

Not that I've heard either one, but I'm going to guess that there will be no discernable difference in the sound you can dial in on either one, given the speaker set you have, and the size of the room. You should base your decision on the features you want and the price. They're both going to sound great.
