Hi all! My old Yamaha receiver has finally started showing it's age, so it's time to replace. I've been looking at many receivers around $1000 or less and I am right now at a crossroad: stick with Yamaha or move into a Denon AVR. I am powering a Paradigm set up with Reference 7's up front, Cinema 90's at the rear, a PDR-10 sub and a Bose VCS-10 Center channel.
Both Demon and Yamaha are great brands and it seems to me, it depends on who you ask as far as which brand is 'better.' I am considering the Yamaha RXA-1020/2020 and the Denon AVR-X2000/3000 models.
There are many of you out there who are much more knowledgeable than me, so I welcome your comments!
