I cannot find a headphone impedance specification anywhere for my AVR-e300 and was wondering if it would drive a pair of beyer 880 250 ohms.

Likely yes, although you could always add a headphone pre-amp if you needed one. You also may want to ask in the Owner's thread ...

I suggest that you call and talk to one of the reps at Music Direct.

They can probably make some helpful suggestions for your situation.
