I have had my sc-63 for about a year and I haven't done the MCACC setup yet and the sound is really good.
But, I was thinking about doing the MCACC setup and I was wondering what peoples experiences have been with the MCACC set up?

Is it worth it? Can I go back to how the sound is now f I do the MCACC setup and I don't like it? And, if I do it can I adjust the rear speakers so more sound comes from them?

I appreciate anybody's thoughts!

You don't venture into setup menus much do you? Each of the speaker channels are adjustable in the setup menu - even after running the auto program.

Run the auto setup program and see for yourself what difference it makes. None of the changes are permanent. At worst you might have to reset the processor which would take you back to where you seem to be right now. Nothing ventured nothing gained - right?

Much of the difference will be heard in rooms that have lots of reflective surfaces or highly absorbing surfaces. For most rooms its nice to have the speaker levels all matched and distances set. In my own experience room correction works ok. I just don't have a very active room.

The difference is subtle for me - you might find it helps a lot more than it does for me.

When all else fails - RTFM!
