Hello,

After reading for many days on the forum, and got myself much more confused I write seeking your advice.

My current setup

Displays
Samsung 55" LED
Epson Projector 3020

Power Amp
NAD M25

AVR
Onkyo 5010

Sources
PS3
XBOX360
SAT HD
HTPC

Speakers
Polk Audio Lsi-15 (FL/FR)
Polk Audio LSi-C (C)
Wharfedale Diamond 10.7 (RL/RR)

Processor
NAD M15 (Not used & keeping it as spare)

HDMI Matrix
Octava HD4xSTPMX 4 x N HDBaseT (Need for Future project)

I currently have the M25 connected to the preamp section of the Onkyo 5010, however considering that I am not using the power section of the Onkyo, i thought of replacing it with either NAD M15 (Option 1) or get a decent processor (Option 2), or change nothing and keep the Onkyo 5010

The whole idea started from my need to add HDBaseT HDMI matrix which is expensive, so thought of selling the Onkyo to get some cash in and purchase the HDMI Matrix.

[Option 1
M25 and M15 is a great match, however I will lose some features like the HDMI switching, but I have been thinking if I can add HDMI switcher (ie: Octava HDMXA71 4 x 2 HDMI switcher) to put my sources on, and maintain the ability to watch on the TV and on the Projector.

Option 2
Considering Marantz 7701 or Denon AVR-X4000, but need your advise.

Option 3
Keep Onkyo 5010, and bite the bullet on the Octava 4 x N.

Appreciate your input.

As long as your current AVR is doing the job well, the only reason to buy another one is that you want one. You don't need one. Given that, then you should buy whatever will satisfy your desire for new equipment, not the desired of other people..
