I have a Harman/Kardon 1650 and it came with a 1/4-inch stereo plug converter. However, when I plug in my headphones (I tried about 4 different ones), I only get audio through the left side and nothing at all on the right side. I checked the manual and there are no special instructions. I don't know if there is something wrong with my receiver or if my setup is wonky. I currently have the receiver hooked up to my computer via HDMI. Everything is working fine except for this one thing. Any help?

Look at the 1/4 adapter...
Does it have (1) insulated washer on its shaft or (2)..
To be stereo it should have (2)..
If only (1) the audio will be 1 channel only. If you have (2) insulated washers and still only get 1 channel of audio, I would try the setup into another AVR or get another 1/4 adapter from Radio Shack.

Just my $0.05... 👍😉

Thank you for your response. It only has 1, so I guess it's mono and not stereo. Thanks again, I will buy another adapter.
