I recently purchased the 1122k receiver and I'm trying to wire the iphone 5 directly to the receiver, how do i go about doing this?

I am aware of the airplay, i am able to do this but there is a lot of lag. I prefer wiring it directly to avoid this problem. The cable which came with the receiver is only meant for the iphone 4. I have an aux cable, but i am not able to find a place where to connect to this on the receiver, can someone please help?

Apple sells a Lightning to 30 pin adapter which will adapt the port to that of the iPhone 4. You can find equivalents for far less money.

This cable will also work. 3.5 out from the headphone on the I-Phone to any open analog on the back of the AVR. Go to that input on the AVR and your'e good to go.

These can also be purchased from Wal-Mart or Radio Shack.
