Morning all

I'm fairly sure I know the answer to this question but on the off chance someone has a magic wand I thought I would make a post.

I'm using a Yamaha RX V367 AV AMP with all my HDMI's going in and one out to the TV + speakers & optical etc.

When the PS3 upgraded to 3D the AMP stopped working (no picture at all in 3D mode) and after a firmware update from Yamaha this fixed the issue with 3D pass through over the HDMI.

I have a new PS4 and have connected it up to the same HDMI cable and the picture has a constant snow effect with regular flickering off and back on again.

I have...

1. Played with the PS4 settings but couldn't find anything that made a difference.

2. Emailed Yamaha about a firmware update (but didn't get a reply).

3. Connected the PS3 back up to the same cable to check the cable was working (it is).

Is there anything you can suggest or do I have to wait on if (ever) Yamaha decide to do another update (3D was 2010) on the v367?

I was hoping I didn't have to buy another AMP.

A work around would be to simply connect HDMI to TV for video with optical to AVR for audio with no real loss in audio quality.
