I have been reading this forum for quite some time searching for the answers to my questions with no luck so maybe someone can help. I have tried Denon tech support multiple times, the only thing they keep telling me to do is a soft reset which hasn't resolved anything. I Have recently purchased a AVR-X1000 receiver for my home. Zone 1 is powering my living room audio setup and the zone 2 preamp out controlling my speakers in various rooms throughout my house. Everything is playing fine with the exception of the Airplay and built in Pandora features when being played in zone 1. There is an almost perfectly timed skipping that persists when using any internet radio service or streaming music via airplay only in zone 1 while in zone 2 everything works perfectly. My AVR-X1000 is hard wired to my wireless router provided by At&t (only thing available in my area) using cat5e cable. I have checked and double checked all connections using the proper test equipment and everything seems to be in order. I have also updated the firmware recently to version 9400-2684-8142 recommended by the Denon tech helping me on the phone. I am puzzled by the fact that on the same receiver, one zone can be working perfectly and the other having issues. I am thinking I may have overlooked something simple so any input would be greatly appreciated.
Well i seem to have resolved my issue with the skipping. Had to turn off DHCP on the receivers ip settings and then issue the receiver a static ip address within my routers settings. Its been playing for a few hours now without interruption, Maybe that will help anyone else having similar issues.
