How come the 2800ES is so little talked about?

I found an open box 2800ES for $650, the SC-71 for $700 online without Elite warranty (so plus an extended, or get 1223 for same price?), and the X3000 for $850

I believe I know where most would lean, but I would still very much love to hear peoples opinions. I might even beg.
My final argument comes down to I work on cars so my ears aren't quite what they used to be and at the end of the day I would just like a nice enjoyable experience with cool s*** to play with biggrin.gif

All of those units would handle your needs effectively. Only the Denon would have the AVS seal of approval for whatever reason that is.
