Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I was in Best Buy this weekend and in their Magnolia store they have the Yamaha A-1030 for $899 which is $200 off normal price. If you're OK with previous years model Crutchfield has the 1020 for $699. For the lower end of your price range the Onkyo NR626 would meet your requirements however reviews are somewhat mixed.
Yamaha A-1030 or A-1020 &
Denon X-3000 & X-4000
I know I'll have to exceed my budget of $900 to get the Denon X-4000 so I'm trying to determine if it is worth it.
I use Sonos for streaming purposes so all of the features related to streaming don't matter to me. As I mentioned before I would prefer a phono connection built in and be able to send digital video & sound to Zone 2 while maintaining my 5.1 Surround Sound in the primary viewing area. I believe all the above systems will provide these.
