I am on search for suitable amp and initially liked the Behringer iNuke 1000DSP but after realizing it has a built in HPF at 20Hz i am not considering it because it will reduce the low extension of Ultimax 15.

I will also want to control the esxursion limits and an 11-14Hz HPF would be great.

Does anyone of you guys know an amp that isnt limited up to 14Hz or, what would be great, an amp that has an adjustable HPF 10-20Hz?

My Builds:
RE AUDIO SE 10 F3-22Hz in 1.8cu ft

My Ultimax 15 is sealed so it drops off below 25hz pretty rapidly in my listening room. It wouldn't even occur to me worry about filtering frequencies below 25 hz.. It probably goes lower in a vented enclosure depending on your room. Since I use my system at normal listening levels I can't even see cone excursion from across the room. It sounds very powerful and looks like it is hardly working. I use a 300 watt plate amp in mine which has proven to be overkill. I can't help but think you are worried about things that shouldn't worry you.

Nice setup you have. You talk a lot about your subwoofer and thats fine. My design is completely different than yours. I am going to use ported design and as my nick name reveals i like sub sonic bass and the question on tackling frequencies below 13 Hz and amps capable in this range isnt without a reason.

Suggest you post this in the DIY speakers section... You will get better responses there...

If it's not a BIG screen, it's not a theater...
