Hello everyone,

I've decided to replace my current system.

I bought a new 60" Full HD 3D Plasma, I do have 5x Definitive Technology Promonitor 1000, and a Yamaha RX-V461.

So I'm planning to buy a new AVR. I'm between HK AVR 3700 and Marantz SR6008. Mostly I do watch movies via Apple TV and play Ps4

What's your advice?

Thanks a lot.

Sound wise I'd go for the HK, reliability, and features the Marantz. Shortly there will be the usual posse extolling the virtues of Audyssey room correction and tell you it's the only way to go.

Reviews of the HK are ALL positive and have nothing but great things to say about its audio and video output. If it were me, I'd get the HK over the marantz or maybe the NAD758.

What features are you referring as pros of Marantz?

Thank you!

Jump over to the official HK 2700, 3700 thread and give it a read. That read alone steered me away from HK due to all the bugs people are reporting. Maybe HK fixed the issues they were having...dunno. Worth the read if you're seriously thinking about buying one.
