OK, I bought this AVR several months ago when Amazon had it for just $299. Good deal.

I like it so far but I find one thing frustrating. No matter how many searches I do or how many times I look over the manual, I can't figure out what mode to set it in for straight out 5.1 audio. I'd not entirely against some kind of "DSP" mode but I'd like to start at just plain old Dolby or DTS 5.1. No matter what I do I get some kind of PLIIx thing going on. I'm no newbie here, but I find it a bit confusing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.
