Do you plan on adding more functionality to the app? I'd like to see the VU meters on the app. It would also be nice to be able to bypass/enable the EQ for each channel too. Also the app has a quirk with the master volume, when I was playing around with it I couldn't get the master volume back to 0.0, it was stuck on -.05 until I reset the nanoAVR.

Unfortunately, we have an internal policy of never talking of "future" products until they are reality.. :-( With this said, this is rev 0.1 so you can expect updates. How much updates will depend on feedback we get and adoption rate. Engineering resources aren't free and being small, we need to closely monitor/track needs of the community first before implementing a new feature...

Thanks for your comments on the quirk. We'll investigate for next rev! Right now doing Iphone cert. Let's see how long this takes...

In case you missed it, MiniDSP released a new firmware for the NanoAVR.

Anyone successfully connect to XTZ Room Analyzer to the Nano?

The NanoAvr only has HDMI inputs. I tried with an analog RCA analog L+R to HDMI converter. I got the one with the best but no where near perfect reviews in Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
The converter didn't work with my PrePro either so assuming it's the converter.
For now I guess will keep buying and trying different analog to HDMI converters. For Example: http://www.amazon.com/Portta-WPETCHP...iglink20246-20.
Prefer to know if someone knows that something works as oppose to costly trial & error.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I know this is an old thread but I just ordered a nanoAVR HDA and plan to put it in my system this weekend.

My plan is to use this with my Oppo 105D. I have a few devices that will feed into the Oppo (Mac mini, dish network receiver, HTPC, ps4, Xbox One) using an HDMI switch

My reason for buying this unit is to use it to augment Audyssey XT32. I plan to do a baseline 8pt calibration and then use this to implement a house curve on my subs, and to put a high pass on my LCR channels (I have JTR 215RT's). I think this will work nicely and would replace a minidsp 10x10 that I am using only for my subs house curve. It will also get rid of a D/A conversion.

One other thing I would like to try with this is to combine the LFE into my LCR's when I decide to watch a movie or concert blu Ray with my mains full range (no subs). I am thinking this should be possible also.

Does anyone see any issues with what I am planning to do?

Thanks!!!

Ray, did you ever get help or work through things on your own? I have been searching but it seems the couple Nano threads have all died off. I am reading back through the JTR thread currently to see if any info is there.

I got some help on the MiniDsp forums but mostly figured it out on my own through trial and error.

If you get one I can email you my saved profiles that you can load as a starting point.
