I'm buying a turntable, speakers, and amp. I'm really interested in the Topping TP20 or Dayton DTA120, but they don't have phono inputs. They do have RCA inputs. Would I be able to get a phono preamp and still use it with a turntable? Or can you recommend me either an integrated amp, or phono preamp + power amp that would work with a turntable? I'm planning on getting Micca MB42X speakers. I want to use the system for both my laptop and turntable.

Thanks in advance

What's your budget? Does your turntable use a moving magnet cartridge? Or a moving coil cartridge?

Try this one. MM/MC cartridge.

There are others on this site. Excellent people to deal with.

The turntable is MM. The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon is the one I'll most likely get. I was also looking at the Rega RP1.

This is the phono preamp I'm thinking of buying because of the 3 aux inputs, on/off button, and volume knob. Is there anything I need to look for to make sure it's compatible with either of those integrated amps I'm thinking of buying?

My budget for the amps is $500 total. And this is for a desktop setup. So, listening distance will be 1-2 feet.
