I don't know what happened but my zones are all screwed up and nothing works now.

Setup: Family room is MAIN, Zone 2 is split out to my dining room and my deck.

Problem: When I choose Zone 2, it now plays in Main and nothing goes outside.

I have searched high and low to find out how to reverse this to no avail. What in the world did I do to switch these? It was working and then some combo of remote mumbo-jumbo happened and it now doesn't work.

Also, if I hit ZONE 2 on the remote and then OPTIONS, nothing happens on the receiver. There are no options -- only for main.

Help please!

Unless a different source is selected, the AVR will try to play the same source playing in the Main zone to Zone 2, however, only analog sources and on board sources (ie. internet radio, Tuner, Pandora, Airplay, etc.) can play to Zone 2. No HDMI or digital source can play to Zone 2 unless using the ALL ZONE STEREO mode is selected while listening to an HDMI PCM 2.0 source in the main zone.

Also note there is a dedicated thread for 2013 Denon "X" series models. Review posts #3-6 for more helpful information to include the post below on Zone 2.
