I have two of these very large audio tech pro Polly series speakers , I am very new to the whole audio setup stuff and would like to know what receiver or whatever I would need to blast these things properly and be able to play my iPod through it. I have a couple hundred bucks to spend. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I'd suggest hitting craigslist or local pawn shops. Look for a vintage two channel receiver by a good brand such as denon, marantz, yamaha, sony, pioneer, rotel. You should be able to pick up a nice piece for $100.

I five dollar cable will hook it to your headphone jack on the iTrinket.

Don't expect much from those speakers. They're probably White Van speakers and may not last a week.
