Hi y'all

Is this a good upgrade from the Denon AVR 1613?

http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-RX-V675-Channel-Network-Receiver/dp/B00B981F1U/ref=sr_1_1?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1402460064&sr=1-1&keywords=yamaha

I'll be using it to drive Sierra-2's LCR, CBM-170SE surrounds and a Rythmik LV12R sub.

I have a direct Ethernet connection and will be using JRiver, Spotify, video content from UVerse and HTPC.

Thanks

Paul

Yamaha is the top rated brand on most a/v websites and the 675 is rock solid reliable and clean sounding. It will play 5.1 hdmi in the main zone while streaming stereo to zone 2 with all those network sources you listed. The best compatibility around on any kind of input.

If you like Audyssey on your 1613, another good upgrade would be the Denon X2000 (successor to the 2113CI) which is on clearance now and uses the more advanced MultEQ XT with a 3 year warranty and Spotify.

** Think the AVR is defective?  Reset the microprocessor 5 times.

Well, I pulled the trigger on a Yamaha RX-1030. So far, so good.

Can't wait for my Sierra 2's.
