What rivals the Denon AVR-X2000

Hi

I was looking at buying the Denon AVR-X2000 as it gets good reviews and it's in my price range, however it's also about 12 months old, I don't know if this old in the receiver industry ?

My question is, is there a newer Denon model coming out to replace this model in the near future ? Or is there another brand of receiver for around the same price that is newer and just as good as the Denon.

Thanks

Ray

Most mfr'd models are replaced every year. So to the X2000 has been replaced by the X2100W just recently released.
