Yamaha rx-677 and upscaling

Is there a way to turn this on or off? I ask as I am considering getting a 4k tv that up converts, so no need for the receiver to do it as well( I have heard its best to let just the tv do this?)...

Thanks and forgive me, as I am fairly new and uneducated here.

I never worried about it on other Yamaha receivers. Should be a way to set it such that it sends a native resolution. You can download the manual for the details

"But this one goes up to 11"

Page 105 of the manual. On Screen>Setup>Video>Video Mode>Direct. This won't upscale to 4k.
Select Processing On>Resolution>Through/Auto/# to force 4k or any output.
