Receiver that can pass PC 1080P video via HDMI

I'm looking for a receiver that can pass PC video at 1080P and 1440P via HDMI. Details...

I have an Onkyo HTIB that has the HT R390 receiver. It works great, but will NOT pass PC video via the hdmi in/out.

The audio options I have on my PC are onboard (Realtek 889) Optical, digital rca, 2.5mm jacks. I'm using the 2.5 jacks for my 5.1 headset for when I have to be quiet. Of course, the Optical and digital rca will not pass 5.1, only stereo. There's audio cards that will, but there's sound lag due to the processing, so it's not an option for me (gamer). I am already using all of the outputs on my video card (780Ti).

I could add another video card just for the hdmi out to get sound to my receiver, but that adds a 'display' that I have to deal with in windows/games that I'm not actually using. I'd like to avoid that issue.

So, I'm stuck with trying to find a receiver that WILL pass PC video via hdmi. Anyone have one or know of one the will?

edit* Let me be clear. I want true directional/positional 5.1, not stereo spammed out over all channels. I need this for fps games, etc.

Based on 65 views and 0 replies, I'm going with 'it's not possible'.

I don't know about the 1440p part but why would it be difficult for a receiver to pass 1080p from a PC?

Mine does.

Any new receiver will pass 1080p no problem. A lot of new receivers can pass up to 4k so I don't see a problem with 1440p

Main System: SVS Ultra Towers - 15" custom ported subwoofer - SVS PB-1000 - Yamaha RX-A740 Aventage. 125dB @30hz, 16hz @ -3dB
Computer System: Carnagie Acoustics CSB-1 - 12' Onkyo sealed subwoofer - Pioneer VSX-92 THX
Other speakers owned or auditioned: Aperion T6 - Ascend CBM-170 - Energy RC-10 - Wharfdale 10.1 - Arx A1b
