Go To Setup Manual Setup Speaker Setup Bass Setting Subwoofer Mode Change From LFE To LFE Plus Main. Front Speaker As Small. Subwoofer Is On In Pure Direct....

In either DIRECT or PURE DIRECT mode, the speakers are ALL treated as LARGE and the only time the sub will be active is if there is a LFE signal (ie. 0.1 in DD/DTS 5.1/7.1) and/or if the sub is set to LFE+Main which will then get the FL/FR audio below the crossover setting.

** Think the AVR is defective?  Reset the microprocessor 4-5 times.
