Fix bugs, add new features, etc. It is the same as updating the BIOS on your computer.

Your are wanting to know what the firmware update is fixing, yes? Has the 4810CI just recently received a new update or did you recently acquire the unit and it has not had the firmware updated in quite some time?

Also note there is a 4810CI Owner's thread ............
