Help with a receiver

Hi guys,

I have my system now almost set up with an awesome svs pb-2000 sub (thanks for the good recommendation). Klipsch RF 42 Center, fronts and rear and I have an Onkyo 308 receiver. I would like to upgrade my receiver and just looking for some input from the experts. I would like something with dual zone as I have speakers run for my outdoor entertainment area. I would also like to be able to play music off my phone/ipod. I have been looking at Denon and Onkyo right now, just not sure what a good pairing would be for these speakers and sub.

Thanks for the help.

Denon x4000 refurbished is $799 I believe if you can afford it .. Or you can get the x2000 new for $399 but that will not have the best Audyssey.

I am in Australia and prices here are ridiculously more expensive than the US. I would like to stay under $1000 and just for reference then Denon X4000 here is about $1400...we get screwed I know!

I have been exploring options and seem to have it narrowed down to the Denon X2000,3000, or the Yamaha HTR 6066. Any input on one over the other? Those three fall within the price point I am looking at.

I believe this Yamaha has a different number in the US. Here is the Australia specs:

Thanks again for the input.

Either of the X2000 or X3000 would make for an excellent choice, selecting the X3000 only if you need the extra features/inputs/outputs over what is offered on the X2000.
