Not a bad price, as you could find out for yourself by checking the price against the various Yamaha authorized dealers. Of course if you buy from an unauthorized dealer you may not be able to get warranty service from Yamaha and who knows what sort of service this unknown dealer is promising vs. what they deliver.

Were it me, I might consider paying the extra to buy from an auth. dealer. About $100 more. I realize that's a lot more. Sometimes you get what you pay for, but you know the drill

800 USD? $100 less than the best new price I found from any auth. dealer. You can do that work yourself, and you should I don't look at all of them. I know Crutchfield will be too high, and I know accessories for less will be pretty good for example, so I don't look at CF.

Deals are just getting better and better on the XX30's. I just picked up a 3030 in FL at Brandsmart for $1299, ironically the 2030 was $1499, and when I asked the salesperson he said that he could match the 3030 price..........you know which one I walked out with

That's really cheap. 800 Canadian is like $5 USD right? ( See the movie Canadian Bacon for a funny scene making fun of the conversion rate)

Very cool. I really want to get a 3030, but I am a bit short on funds. Might have to wait a year, then get the 3040

Lol I'll have to watch that now. For audio solutions up here in grande prairie all we really have his visions, bestbuy or futureshop and echo audio video. Echo likes to price gouge and well the selection and bb and fs are meh. So I have had a hard time and big ticket items I hate buying online. Visions has yamaha, some pino and onkyo but yamaha is exclusive. And I think the adventage will power my polk tsx 7.2 quite well
