Hi, my old denon receiver died recently, and I am looking for a new one for replacement. I mainly use it for movies, and KaraOK occasionally, and will have PS3, XBOX 360, projector, laptop pc connected to it. The feature I will need is 7.1 channel, 3D pass through (any HDMI >=1.3 will do, I guess?), 4K HD compatible (for future upgrade) and streaming video ready (e.g. roku ready) would be nice to have as well. Can anyone recommend some good ones for consideration? I like Denon brand, would prefer to stick to it, but open to other brands as well. Thanks!
A little more details, I have two BA 360 as front speakers, BA 225 for center speaker and pair of Pioneer BS41 for surround ones. I am also thinking about to add two rear speakers to get 7.1. I am now kind of leaning towards Denon x2000, would it be a good choice? or Yamaha rx-v675 is a better option? Thanks in advance!
Another awesome receiver for its price right now is: Pioneer 1123; only its not Roku ready. 1124 is; but 1124 cost $599 vs $349 for 1123. Also 1123 has 8 HDMI inputs; 1124 has 7 HDMI inputs. If you have to decide between Audessey and Advanced MCACC. My vote goes for Advanced MCACC . I had a Denon 3311CI receiver with Audessey XT and I really have to say that Advanced MCACC performs a better job and audio is really awesome.
