Don't quote me on this, but I think to get a true zone 2 you need to purchase at least a yamaha 6 series or above. The 5 series has Zone B which only allows for what is being played in Zone 1 to be played in a different room. I've got a 671 and A1010. Also with the different zones there are limitations. Say you're listening to Pandora in Zone 1 and you want to play something from your PC in Zone 2. This is not possible because all the Network functions use the same part of the amp. I'm extremely happy with both my Yamaha receivers. Try your local Best Buy. Sometimes you can find great deals on the Aventage line. I think I got my A1010 for $469 on closeout two years ago.

The HTR-7065 over the 573 for sure. 7065 is like the 773 or 775 so you get dual HDMI outputs, more power, 7.1 preouts in case you want to add more power later.

It is two levels above the 573 on the Yamaha product line.

The 573 only has Zone B which is different that Zone 2. With Zone B you can only play the same thing as the main zone. With Zone 2 you listen to one source in the main area and a different source in Zone 2 if you so choose.

You can get the RX675 new in a box from Amazon for $399. It's last year's model, but still a great receiver.
