Pioneer zone 2 help

Hey guys,

I posted this in the 1522k forum but no one is responding, hoping to get a response here.

I have a pioneer sc1522k . I have 5 speakers connected indoors with no subwoofer. I connected new outdoor speakers (Def Tec aw6500s) to the rear surrounds (inputs all the way to the right on the back) for zone 2. They work fine outdoors and I can play Pandora through the avcontrol app.

I tested the connection of the speakers by first plugging then into the front terminals. The power the speakers were getting from the front terminal versus the rear terminal seemed to be almost twice as much.

What settings am I missing or what am I doing wrong? I want to increase the power to the outdoor speakers but have them plugged into dedicated terminals.

Help! please!

Zone 2 speakers have a separate volume control. It could also be the channel levels are set lower.
