Sub suddenly stopped working on Elite SC-67?!?

I was just re arranging my equipment today and adding a center channel. After all was done my B&W PV1 stopped working altogether!

I first noticed it after setup completion. MCACC said no sub? So I checked the connection and it looked ok. Ran again. Same.

Then I tried manual SP setup and when I went to level setting on speakers, when I gets to Sub no sound/boom comes out!

Then I checked the sub, turned on/off and reset it. Checked the fuse and all seems ok. The light on the sub turns on and if I touch the cable coming out of sub can hear a boom (so I guess cable is fine).

What could this be? My receiver is only a few mos old. Could it just stop sending signal to the sub ? How can I diagnose this better and figure out which should be serviced?

Thanks

There's two subwoofer outs on the receiver. Didn't you mistakenly plug it into the wrong one?

Not sure if they both operate the same.

As far as I can tell there's only one subwoofer output.

Ok. I might be losing it. I just saw there two sub out at the pre-out section, while there's a sub only out above the speaker wires. I had it connected there before and it was working. Not sure why it wouldn't now. I can re try.

Try the subwoofer output circled in blue. The one circled in red is for zone 2. That may be your problem.

the single sub out is FOR ZONE 2. if you look at the rear panel it's underneath zone 2 connections and next to the zone 2 component video connection. if you are using the single sub out (the one not in preamp section), then you plugged it into the wrong one, no matter what you think you did before

you absolutely have to use one of the 2 preamp outputs for the main zone. they are connected together internally so it doesn't matter which one.
