No output from F-Center or S-Left (Insignia receiver)

A relative did a bit of cleaning out and had an Insignia IS-HC040917 6.1 receiver to get rid of. I'm really more of a 2 channel guy, but thought it might be fun to watch videos in surround again. It's not a high quality unit by any means... probably a $150 Best Buy special from a few years ago. But if it works, that's good enough for me right now. My audiophile tendencies are all channeled into my Virtual Pipe Organ anyway!

Here's the problem: everything works except the front center and surround left channels. I've tried multiple sources to no avail. I plugged in a stereo source and set it to a virtual surround mode, and still no luck. I did test the speakers and wiring by hooking them to a known-good channel to rule out wiring or speaker problems. Any ideas? I'm competent with a multimeter, so if I know what to look for, I can pull some values. Anything I should be testing?
